TOURING GROUPKnown as the Touring Group, we meet every Saturday, during term time. Meeting around 10 a.m. we ride for about two hours, returning to our starting point. We may stop to have a go at 'The Dip' on Headley Heath, have a hot chocolate at the 'Lunch Box' on Epsom Downs, watch the black swans in Richmond Park, dry out and eat chips at the Oaks Park Café or ride up and down the chalk hills on Banstead Downs. Fitness is a by product of our activities. We find that those who come along with us regularly become fitter and healthier, being able to ride much further than before, covering distances they did not imagine possible, and in the company of their friends. Over the last two years we have organized special rides on the South Downs, ridden to Tanners Hatch Youth Hostel, staying overnight, and also ridden along the Thames Towpath to Windsor.
