SUMMER SUCCESS FOR MOUNTAINBIKING MEADSThe Mead brothers have been flying the flag for the Club at the Southern XC Mountainbike Series this summer, with some succcess! Lucas won the Under 8s race last Sunday, 22nd August, giving him two wins in a row and overall 3rd place in his age category for the Series. Although Josh didn't race last week, he has done well overall, taking 5th place in the Under 12 category for the Series. Dad Lance didn't do as well as his boys, but still enjoyed himself in the Fun category, taking 11th place overall for the Series. Congratulations!!

Track Riding at Calshot, 12th SeptTrack coach Julian McGovern has once again teamed up with Woolwich CC and arranged another training session at Calshot indoor velodrome in Hampshire for Saturday, 12th September, from 12 noon to 5pm. Full details and booking form are attached. As usual the session plan will be drawn up in accordance with the experience of the riders that wish to come. The cost will be £12.50 each (as this is a slightly longer session than normal), which includes hire of a track bike. Note: Due to the limited frame sizes of the hire bikes, these sessions are only suitable for those aged 7 and over. Places are limited to a maximum of 18 riders, so if you're interested you'll need to send in your booking form and payment promptly, and certainly by 4th September.
