CONGRATULATIONS, Aidan - our new SE Regional Track Champion!
Last Saturday's Regional Track Championships went ahead at Preston Park, Brighton, in spite of the doubtful weather - in the end, only the last three races were called off.
Aidan Woolven came 1st in all 3 races he did, so was first overall and SE Regional Champion, Under 14 Boys. Our congratulations to him!
Chris McGovern was 3rd overall in the U16 Boys category, so again another good result. Matthew McGovern was the only other Sutton entrant, and showed good form for future years.
CYCLO-CROSS RESULTS
In spite of changes to higher age categories for some of our riders, we had encouraging results in the first round of the London League last Sunday. Two riders made the podium:
Emily Ashwood - 1st Under 14 Girl
Martin Blackman - 3rd Under 14 boy.
Seven other riders came in the top ten in their age groups and four in the top fifteen. Well done to all, and to the parents/coaches who also rode (one top 20 finish)!
